Technically Speaking,

We were at a hockey game last night and the referee called an infraction. Zoe turned to Jack and I and said "what was the call?" I raised my hand in the air and began to open and close my fist in response. Zoe looked at me like - how does that help? Jack, always the verbal one, said "hand pass." Always the one with the technical definitions (or the one with word finding problems), all I could think of was "touched with hand and gave to someone else."

Uh...hockey? I have no idea how to follow hockey, just football. I pretty much breathe and sleep football but other sports confuse me...

BTW...thanks for stopping by my blog. Nice to meet you....

"touched with hand and gave to someone else"

Sounds like hepatitis.

limpy: I'm totally gonna refer to a hand pass as hepatitis from now on. That's awesome.

The hepatitis call definitly needs the full hand jesture that went along with "touched with hand and gave to sonmeone else."

Maria: I like football too, but hockey is my passion. My brother, Kaarrl, has been explaining football to me. I think the best part is watching the offensive line during plays. They make the play happen. Thanks for stopping by here. I really enjoy reading your blog.

Limpy: Hopefully, I won't get hepatitis watching (or playing) hockey! Didn't Elias on New Jersey get it playing in Europe somewhere during the strike?
