Must Be Something in the Water

The anemone has grown a ton. Here is a pic of her from a similar viewpoint around the time we got her. This is a pic taken this week.

Hopefully she is not going to keep growing at this clip, or we will need a MUCH larger tank!

phollower told me he's been slipping her miracle grow because he wants a bigger tank ;)

Seriously, it's amazing how much it has grown in only a months time.

I'm so glad you post these pictures and share them with us. I'm really enjoying it!

This explains why Phollower hasn't been posting. The anenome ate him.

Tysgirl: I am glad you like the pics. We are really liking the tank. Since Phollower does most of the water changing, etc., I doubt he wants a bigger tank!

Limpy: I'll take a look around the house. I could have sworn he was just vacuuming. If the anemone did eat him, it would explain its growth!

I just love the word anemone. I have never seen one grow like, though, and we had one in our fish tank for years that never grew an inch.

What are you feeding it?

Maria: We feed it small pieces of krill (a little shrimp) 2x/week. It also gets some of the tiny bits of shrimp we feed the fish each day. The clown fish feed it. It might be the kind of anemone. This one is a bubble tipped rose anemone, and it was born in a tank here in our hometown! By the way, I love the name too. We have a joke, which you kind of need to hear to get, but someone says "anemone" and someone else "ba da duh duh" like on Sesame Street (manamana - ba da duh duh). Sorry - funnier in person!
