Sadly, TN was even more red than past elections. I think I may be the only person here that voted for Obama. If I mysteriously disappear and my body is never recovered, you'll know why.

Congrats to IN. Way to go Sylvia and thanks for the calling etc you did to help it happen.

Sadly NE stayed red and this morning MDF heard a guy talking about hiding his guns because he did want Obama to take away his freedom to hunt and own a rifle.

I was surprised and thrilled that Indiana went for Obama. When I went to bed Tuesday night, we were tipping toward McCain, and I thought that's how it would end. What a nice surprise when I woke up Wednesday morning and checked the NY Times website.

BTW: On one of Obama's stops in this fair state of ours, I heard him say, and I quote:

"I promise that, if I am elected, I will make Phollower post on his blog more often. In this economy, too many Americans are down-trodden, depressed, disgusted. Too many Americans suffer through each day without laughing, without even cracking a smile. Phollower's razor-sharp wit, his hilarious stories, and his intelligent take on reality are just the panaceas we need. A vote for me is a vote for change, and a vote for change is a vote for Phollower to get off his ass and post on his blog! We already lost Limpy! We need Phollower! We need Phollower! We need Phollower!"

Hey, don't kill the messenger. I'm just passing along what I heard Obama say.

Once you go blue, you never go back.

Or something like that.
